སྙིང་རྗེ་ཆེན་པོའི་ཞབས་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ།
Homage at the feet of Great Compassion!

འཇིག་རྟེན་འདི་ན་དངོས་པོ་རྩ་ཆེན་དུ།།
གྲགས་པ་གསེར་དངུལ་ནོར་བུ་ཡོད་ཚད་ལས།།
དོན་གྱིས་གཅེས་པ་རང་གི་ཚེ་སྲོག་ཡིན།།
འདི་ཡོད་རིན་ཆེན་གཞན་གྱིས་དོ་ཟླ་མིན།།
I.
More so than all the valuable objects in this world
Such as gold, silver, and precious jewels,
The most truly prized thing is one’s own life.
With this, all other gems pale in comparison.

འདི་མེད་རིན་ཆེན་ནོར་བུས་ཁྱིམ་གང་ཡང་།།
བེད་སྤྱོད་སྣ་གཅིག་མེད་པ་ཤེས་པར་མཛོད།།
དེའི་ཕྱིར་ཚེ་སྲོག་རིན་ཐང་མཁྱེན་པར་མཛོད།།
འདི་ཤེས་ཡོན་ཏན་ཀུན་གྱི་མཆོག་དེ་ཤེས།།
II.
Understand that without this, you may fill your home
With jewels and gems, but they will be of no use.
Please come to thus realize the preciousness of life!
Knowing this, you will know the most supreme gift of all.

རང་གི་ཚེ་སྲོག་རིན་ཐང་ངོ་ཤེས་ནས།།
དེ་ལ་གཅེས་འཛིན་བྱེད་པ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ།།
གཞན་གྱི་ཚེ་སྲོག་དེ་ཡང་རང་དང་འདྲ།།
གཅེས་འཛིན་རིན་ཐང་གཅིག་པ་ཤེས་པར་མཛོད།།
III.
Having recognized the value of this life of yours
Make sure to cherish it so and likewise
Come to the realization that the life of others
Is of equal value to this life you so cherish.

རིན་ཆེན་ཚེ་སྲོག་ས་འོག་འབུ་ལ་ཡོད།།
ས་སྟེང་དུད་འགྲོ་རྣམས་ལ་སྨྲོས་ཅི་དགོས།།
དེའི་ཕྱིར་སྐྱེ་འགྲོ་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི།།
ཚེ་སྲོག་འདྲ་མཉམ་ཡིན་པ་ཤེས་པར་མཛོད།།
IV.
There is no need to state that precious life abounds
With the worms below the earth and the animals above.
Come thus to the realization that the life
Of all creatures and all beings are equal.

བདེ་བ་མི་འདོད་སྲོག་ལྡན་སུ་ཡང་མེད།།
སྲོག་ལས་གལ་ཆེའི་དངོས་པོ་སྲིད་ན་མེད།།
དེའི་ཕྱིར་རིན་ཆེན་རིན་ཐང་མི་ཤེས་པར།།
མཁས་པར་རློམ་པ་རང་མཚང་ཕྱི་རུ་དྲུད།།
V.
There is no being that does not wish to be happy.
There is nothing more valuable than life in this universe.
Without recognizing the value of life, the faults
Of those who pretend to be scholars are revealed.

རང་གི་བདེ་སྡུག་ངལ་བ་བརྒྱ་ཕྲག་གིས།།
དོ་སྣང་མཛད་དེ་འདོར་ལེན་ཕྱོགས་སུ་བྲེལ།།
གཞན་གྱི་བདེ་སྡུག་དོ་སྣང་ཙམ་མེད་པར།།
རིན་ཆེན་ཚེ་སྲོག་འཕྲོག་པ་ཅི་ཡིས་ལན།།
VI.
Focusing on your hundreds of joys, sorrows, and problems,
You busy yourself with getting more or getting less.
Without the slightest care for the joys and sorrows of others,
Why do you go about stealing the precious lives of others?

གང་ལ་བསམ་ཡང་རྣམ་དཔྱོད་མཆོག་མངའ་བ།།
མི་ཡི་ཁྱད་ཆོས་ཡིན་ཞེས་ཀུན་གྱིས་བསྒྲགས།།
ཀུན་ལ་རིན་ཐང་ཆེ་བའི་ཚེ་སྲོག་གི །
ཡོན་ཏན་འདྲ་མཉམ་མ་ཤེས་ངོ་རེ་ཚ།།
VII.
To possess supreme intelligence in every matter
Is the unique quality of humans, or so everyone says.
What a shame it is then to not see the truth
Of the preciousness of life equally in everyone.
ཞེས་པ་འདི་ཡང་གཞན་གྱི་ཚེ་སྲོག་གི་རིན་ཐང་ཙམ་ལ་མི་ད
པྱོད་པར་དཔྱོད་ལྡན་མཁས་པར་རློམ་པའི་མི་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་
སྲོག་ལྡན་གཞན་གྱི་ཚེ་སྲོག་འཕྲོག་ནས་བདེ་སྡུག་ཁྱད་
དུ་བསད་པ་ལ་ཡིད་སྐྱོ་བའི་ངང་ནས་གནས་མཆོག་མཆོད་རྟེན
་བྱ་རུང་ཁ་ཤོར་ཉེ་འགྲམ་དུ་རྒྱལ་ཁམས་པ་གསང་སྔགས་བསྟ
ན་འཛིན་ནས་ཤར་མར་བྲིས་པ་དགེའོ།།
Saddened by supposed “scholars” who do not investigate the value of life and disregard the difference between happiness and suffering as they steal the lives of others, this was spontaneously composed by the vagrant wandered Sangngak Tenzin near the eminent Boudhanath stupa.
